We excavate 75-100mm, lay a permeable compacted MOT base, top with granite dust screeded flat, install a weed membrane, and fix the turf with adhesive at the seams and ground pins at the edges. The turf is then brushed and a sand infill added so it stands up.

Properly installed turf is permeable and drains faster than most lawns. For dog owners we use zeolite-infused infill that neutralises urine smells.
