Close-board, panel, picket and decorative options
Close-board is the heaviest and longest-lasting option — individual feather-edge boards on arris rails. Panel fencing is faster to install and cheaper, good for boundaries that are already sheltered. Picket or decorative fences are for front gardens and low dividers rather than security. We walk the line with you, talk through which option fits and why, and price accordingly.
Concrete posts, gravel boards and proper bases
Most failed fences fail at the ground. We set concrete posts in a postcrete base, add concrete or timber gravel boards at the foot, and use proper fixings rather than skew-nailing. That is the difference between a fence that stays upright for 15+ years and one that leans the first winter.
Gates, side returns and old fence removal
We fit matching pedestrian and side-access gates, handle returns between neighbouring boundaries, and take the old fence away — you do not end up with a pile of rotted panels stacked behind the shed. Works well tied into new landscaping or patio jobs where the fence line and the hard surface need to finish together.
